NVWF FY 23-24 Wrestling Season
Hot off the press: NVWF is switching to Track Wrestling and improving tournament operations. Unfortunately, the shipment of the 7 mat PCs/monitors has been delayed and may not be used until the second tournament. We will have to run paper (bout sheets and results) to the head table like last year. The new NVWF divisions will be: 6U -Bantam, 8U - Midget, 10U - Junior, 12U - Intermediate, and 14U - Senior. We will use the wrestlers Age on 12/31/2023 to determine what division they participate. The Track Wrestling system will be a major improvement but at the same time its new. Thank you for being patient with us as we transition to a new system.
The table assignments for the NVWF FY 23-24 Wrestling Season are still being determined. During the tournament Clubs will be responsible to provide (3) volunteers for the table for the entire day. If clubs are unable to fill their responsibilities, they most coordinate with another club for assistance to ensure the table assignment is covered during the session. This year will run only (7) mats during each tournament. In addition, we will combine the Senior and Junior Division during each tour to we will only utilize seven mats.

Host Club Responsibility - will provide people to set up tournament supplies/materials (Towers & signs, Table supplies with signs, etc.) before beginning of meet (7:00 am) and supply parents to run operations throughout tourney.
Weigh-ins (6U Bantam and 8U Midget) 8:00-8:30 am with Host Club Responsibility - 3 people for weigh-ins
Weigh-ins (10U Junior) 10:00-10:30 am with Host Club Responsibility- 3 people for weigh-ins
Weigh-ins (12U Intermediate and 14U Senior) 12:30-1:00 pm with Host Club Responsibility - 3 people for weigh-ins
{Note: Please have your workers check-in at least 15 minutes before shift starts.}
Host Club Responsibility - will provide people to remove tournament supplies/materials at end of wrestling (to include breaking down tables after Divisions).
Host Club Responsibility - will move all mats and tables/chairs at beginning and end of tournament and run head table.
Host Club Responsibility - will inventory and re-pack Federation Equipment Boxes (using Checklist).
